Good Posture, Good Body

A new study says the kids are spending too much time on modern technology, such as: computers, phoned, video games, etc., and these are giving children bad posture. That’s because they often lean forward and hunch over when they use technology. All this bad posture will have a serious effect on their spine! Backache can be so painful, that you can be unable to move. Most people will suffer from back pain at some point in their life. It's one of the main reasons why people are unable to go to work. So how can you stop it happening to you?

Firstly, we can correct our posture when we use modern technology. Sitting up straight, adjusting the height of the chair so that our knees are bent at a 90 degree angle, can take away some of the weight that’s on our back. Adjusting the location of the computer, so that we don’t need to bend our neck to see the screen, will keep our spine in its normal curve. All these actions create good posture by spreading the weight evenly over our body and protecting our spine.

Secondly, we also need to keep our back straight when we are walking or carrying something, spreading the weight across our shoulders, making sure there is no extra pressure and weight on our spine.

Thirdly, it is to limit the amount of time we spend hunched over a keyboard and be active as often as we can.
