It was Wednesday, my AMEP teacher Gordana brought me and my classmate to the Australia Museum.
We all met at the Kogarah station and took a tain to the city. We got off at the Town Hall station and walked to the Museum. May was our tourist guide, she had gone to the Museum many times with her families, so it was familiar to her.
We arrived at the Museum 10 minutes later and gathered at the gate. Gordana gave us some activity sheet, and asked us to fill it when we visited the Museum. We went inside and paid the admission. Then everyone met again at the meeting place in the Atrium. We gathered in groups and started the Journey in the Museum.
First we went to the Skeletons exhibitioon. There were many skeletons of human, animal, and fish . Some displayes were so interesting, they ` told us a story about themselves. I learned the different side of human, animal and fish. It was so amazing!
Next we went upstairs to the Planet of Minerals exhibition. There were many kinds of precious mineral sample display in the glass boxes. These mimeral samples had different beautiful shape and colour, there was a card beside each sample, and some words were writtern in the card to introduce the mineral sample. I felt a little bit regretful because I could't see any diamond sample which is  women's favourite in the exhibition.
After that we went upstairs to the Surviving Australia exhibition. This exhibition showed us many specimens of birds and insets. I learnt a lot about fascinating Astralian plants and animals.
Then we went to the Australia Original exhibition downstairs, many original tools were showed in the exhibition, and we took some funny pictures together there.
After nearly three hours the whole class met again in the Atrium and finished the Journey of Museum.
We went out the Museun and went to the Hyde Park, we had pinic lunch there. It was the most interesting hour during that day. And  we said goodbye at about 1:30 pm.
We all agreed that it had been a fascinating visit. It was really good for us, new migrant to learn about Australia. Now I want to take my family to the Australia Museum.
